About Me
Hi!
My name is Joey Milberg and I'm a graduate from The University of Florida. I majored in Media Production, Management, and Technology with a minor in the Sociology of Social Justice and Public Policy. Extracurricular-wise, I was the Executive Producer for the ChomPics Productions web series and was a member of Gator Days.
During my time at UF, I had the opportunity to help create three web series and numerous award winning films, including a film I wrote and directed that was nominated for a Suncoast Emmy.
Through the work that I write and direct, I am dedicated to crafting compelling films that authentically portray the experiences of young, queer individuals. Through my work, I seek to capture the nuances, struggles, and triumphs of queer identity, offering audiences an intimate and thought-provoking glimpse into lives that are often underrepresented on screen. I strive to push the boundaries of storytelling, experimenting with narrative structures, visual aesthetics, and emotional depth. My work is driven by a passion for authenticity and a desire to challenge conventional perspectives, ensuring that queer voices are not only heard but celebrated.
